Delete your ALIF account
This page explains how to ask ALIF to delete a ALIF Student App account and the data linked to it. Student accounts are created by ALIF staff, so deletion is done by our team when you ask.
How to ask

Please include the student's full name and username or student code, and send the request from the phone number or email we have on file. If you write from somewhere else, we will check with you before deleting anything. A parent or guardian can ask on behalf of a child.
What we delete
- The student's profile: name, username, student code and password
- Lesson progress, marks, game results and evaluation answers
- Photos, audio recordings and files the student uploaded as work, and teacher feedback on them
- Device sign-in records and app activity data
What we may keep
- Fee and payment records, for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records
- Totals that cannot identify the student (for example, the number of students in a course)
How long it takes
We confirm your request within 7 days and finish the deletion within 30 days. Copies in our backups are removed when those backups expire.
If you only want to stop using the app for a while, you can ask us to turn off the account instead. Your child's progress is kept until you ask us to delete it.
